What am I supposed to give for a close neighbor's vort in Lakewood. Gift or platter? Or both? I'm not up to baking, so if it's a platter, it would have to be bought. I've never sent anything before to vorts, but this one got me thinking because I feel closer to them, I want to do the right thing.

If you want to send food, find out if they are using a party planner and call her. You can't go wrong with either. If you want something more memorable then buy a gift.

Thanks. A neighbor called and asked me if I want to chip in for a gift. I will go with that.
