I pay less than $4,000 a year and it's the full tuition. There is no such a thing as a tuition break in my kids school. I wish all schools would lower their tuition and have everyone pay the same amount. Nothing wrong with fundraising. It solves so much of the resentment people have.
Oh we also gave some money by the fundraising events of our school. I didn't count it as tuition. All families give some money.

Time to move to England folks!
Schools are state aided and there is a voluntary contribution toward kodesh lessons (as state pays primarily chol). The ask is about 4.5k us dollars for elementary school - it is a voluntary contribution not a bill Fantastic education

3 in school right now. 10k for elementary. 12k for HS. 7k for yeshiva, plus another 5k for college night classes for him.
Our house is paid for, this is by far the biggest chunk of our budget.

my daughters school asks for about £1500 a year. Last year we paid it but not sure if we can manage it this year although I feel really bad about it. (I think the money goes to security as well as kodesh lessons, but also, lessons that have a gcse or a level like Modern Hebrew, biblical hebrew and Religious studies are not considered kodesh lessons)

I'm getting the feeling that the results are a bit skewed. How many people who get scholarships will click on this? I'm sure that the percentage of parents on scholarship is much greater in real life.

We pay about $9,000 each for 2 kids. The third is $35,000 and that school gives us a 5% scholarship break so we're paying just about full there too.

I live in ohio so I get vouchers. I think after vouchers I think it comes out to less then 8,000. We pay the full amount that we are charged.
Those of you who pay full- do you send to schools where most people pay full? If not are you resentful?

4 in elementary - 12k plus fees.
1 in HS - 14 plus fees.
1 in HS - 18 plus fees.
The fees add almost another 10k.
We're paying around 45k with a break.

We pay 15K per kid plus fees for three kids in elementary for a total of 54K. Next year one will be in high school and we expect the total bill to be closer to 65K.

We live in NY area (not Brooklyn).
This year we paid
8K - 1 boy in elementary
30k - 2 kids in HS
25K+ - 1 girl in Touro college
total is 63K and we are paying full tuition. It's tight but we don't qualify for financial aid
Yeah, life is expensive.

(Don't tell Marina what I am posting!)
what
I clicked No, getting scholarship- because BH I live in Ohio and we are low income, so the school gets around $4500 for each of my kids from the state voucher program (a scholarship funded by the government), and can't charge me any more than that.
Even families that are not low income get the scholarship if they live in a failing school district, and they just have to pay the difference.
Thank You Hashem for Edchoice vouchers and for Governor Kasich.
