It's in this section for those that want to be anon.
I was in a toy store with some of my children and my ds after pointing out a spinner and the price, said how it's so much cheaper than it used to be. Fads come and go!!
Growing up I was never into any fad. The only one fad I can really think of when I was younger is the cabbage patch doll. I'm showing my age . I didn't have one and didn't even want one. I wasn't into dolls besides Barbie dolls because I played them with my sister, and besides they, the cabbage patch dolls, are so ugly.
Now that I said I didn't have any favorite or any, what was your favorite growing up?

Beanie babies |
Lol, I thought I would make a fortune off my beanie babies one day! I really did. I had a special one that sat on my shelf, with a protective cover over its tag. I was sure it would be worth a lot one day. I have no idea where it is now.
I was very into my American Girl dolls and accessories. My old dolls didn’t end up in good enough condition to be worth anything, but the dolls are still popular and I’m holding onto them for my daughters.

There were so many fads that I really wanted to have when I was growing up. But my parents did not believe in these things. Probably the reason why I like to get my kids every fad.

Some fads were so weird. Remember furbies?
The originals are very valuable now.

Yes to sticker albums!
Friendship pins (safety pins we put beads on and wore on our laces). And bracelets made from telephone wire. And goomie bracelets, the skinny ones.
