I was just reading (on askdraxe) it's probably a healthier alternative to tamari/soy sauces. Does it taste ok? Do you use thec same amount as soy sauce? Is there any with a hechsher?

Coconut aminos are delicious and nutritious but I still can't figure out how anyone thinks it's a sub for soy sauce. Other than color. The taste is sweeter and not at all salty.

if you use it in a soup or on meat/chicken/fish instead of soy sauce, its a good sub. if you use it on sushi or salad you will taste the difference. I use it cuz I'm off gluten and soy.

Too sweet for my taste. I do like Braggs Liquid Aminos as a sub for Soy Sauce.
