So since day one my baby has been spitting up. I didn’t nurse, used dairy formula Every time I would ask the doctor about it she said it’s ok since he’s gaining weight thanks God. Now I’m switching over to whole milk and solids and he seems uncomfortable after he has a bottle and spits up a little bit like twice a day. But it smells of vomit I guess since he’s eating solids. Would you be concerned?

A one year old shouldn’t be spitting up. I would discuss with pediatrician.
Might be reflux

Probably reflux, especially if he seems uncomfortable.

I just started my 11 month old on zantac for reflux. She was spitting up every day. Nothing to do with dairy since I bf her and haven't given dairy foods yet. I knew for a while she had reflux but I hadnt seen the pediatrician in a while so when I finally went I asked and got the medication. Your pediatrician should be taking this a bit more seriously.
