One of my boys was born erev Yom Kippur. We had already picked out Akiva and after Yom Kippur my husband called to check up and told me “bh I found a connection of the name we chose to Yom Kippur! Rabbi Akiva!”
We already had some of the other beautiful names suggested up thread...
Bshaa Tova OP! Being in the hospital over yk was a strange experience...

Shmuel. Chana tefillot were answered, and we read Shmuel on Rosh Hashana (if your baby's early). Or Yitzhak, also for Rosh Hashana.
