Has anyone ever had one performed on their child? Does a regular eye doctor perform these exams? If not who does? I need someone for my 6 year old son who is having trouble tracking his teacher believes.

I'm not sure I understand the question. My son gets an eye exam in school once a year but the results are never accurate. He's been in glasses since he is an infant but the school always passes him with flying colors. I take him to his own ophthalmologist every six months or as recommended by the doctor.

No this is a special eye exam that is performed to see if your child needs vision therapy my child’s OT believes he is having trouble tracking

you want a developmental optometrist with a COVD to perform a developmental vision exam. If you're in brooklyn, ezra medical center vision department has excellent providers.
