Due in elul, no one to name after BH. Looking for elul related girls names, preferable somewhat modern but open to any ideas:)

Can we add on Tishrei to the request, or should I start another thread?

I would add Ruchama or something for rachamim to balance it, Ruchama Dina. Or Ahuva for the idea of ani l'dodi...

Modern names? I've met a teshuva, and an Elul. You could try Sadeh, Hadas, Ayala, Ayelet Hashachar.
What is special about Elul for you? And mazal tov!

I've heard of the name "Dina Tova" for Elul.
Also "Batsheva Nechama" for the shiva d'nechemta.
Sara and Chana were both remembered on Rosh Hashana (though that's of course Tishrei not Elul).

I had a baby girl 2 days before yom kippur but didn't want to give her a name meaning judgement. We wanted something more upbeat.
Since she was named between yom kippur and succos, we chose Avigayil.
Avi- for Avinu Malkeinu
Gayil - means joy, for zman simchaseinu

Please don't. As a Shoshana who's middle name is something else, I still get this all the time at rh time and I'm in my 30s! I can't imagine how much worse it would be if that was my full name.

I think any name that you have to "explain" the connection is a waste of a name... Like Dina Tova - easy to get. Shulamis? Nechama? Not so easy.
