hi
I have an 8 month old and I need some new food ideas for her. she does not really like the baby jarred food. so I started making her own food for dinner, and for lunch and breakfast she has one of the few jars of baby food that she likes
for dinner its chicken with sweet potato or regular potato and carrots or zucchini.
what else can I make for her????

so funny my baby is 10mnths and I cant find a thing besides baby food and cerial that he would touch, I give him everything and he takes one bite and spits it out. My dr says he needs to eat more foods but he wont, he wont even eat a cookie, or anything sweet. Im at my wits end already.

florida, my son (10 months) also won't eat baby food any more, so I just give him whatever we are eating, I just try not to spice it until after I have given it to him.
He likes:
chicken soup veggies,
wholewheat bread spread with avocado;
sweet potato;
ratatouille (sp?);
fruits;
meat balls in tomato sauce;
cholent;
But he is quite a picky eater, so he has his moods, he gets fed up of foods very quickly so I have to vary his diet a lot. Also he doesn't have patience to eat a lot at one time, so he eats a little, then gets fed up of sitting in high chair, but a short time later he is hungry again... Any ideas anyone?
