I'm having a hard time getting food and ink stains off white shirts. I'm currently pretreating with Shout, although I've used other sprays in the past and have not really found them to be better. What do you use that effectively removes stains?

I soak in oxiclean overnight if I think it'll be hard to get out.

I put undiluted washing-up liquid on the stain. It's brilliant!

I use Palmolive dish soap on stains. Rub into stain and let sit for a few hours. Then wash with only white clothing using hot water. Use a good detergent like tide and use lots of bleach. All your stains will come out ... aside for ink stains. Your clothing will look new with this method.

For pen marks use hair spray generously and scrub out the ink.

Doesn’t the bleach make your whites yellowish?

Is the hot water not going to ruin the white dress shirts?

No, not all!! My white clothing is pure white, like new... that’s what bleach is for. Use with the hottest water for best results.

I use Nature bright from Shaklee. I either make a paste and let sit for about an hour or soak overnight. It comes out brand new.

I’m wondering why bleach makes your whites yellow and my white come out very white?
Are you using hot water?
