My child in middle school is refusing to get a vaccine. The child literally ran away and the doctor was very unhelpful. This child has a lot of anxiety. Who would be good to go to?

Call the doctor's offices ahead of time. Ask about cold numbing spray. Some have and are willing to use. Alternatively, call the hotline that has somebody come down to your home.

This isn't something you can necessarily expect a pediatrician to resolve. I would advise working on a plan at home in advance of your next visit.

I use refua and they apply a numbing spray before. But it won't necessarily help ease the anxiety of an older child. I don't think the doctor can help with that.

Dr Dov Landau from Tov Health.
My daughter needed blood tests and was refusing to have it done until I was told to go to his practice. I couldn't have been more impressed. He's new, in Pomona. Had a practice in Brooklyn till now.
