A lot of stores now have 50% or more off. I've had success at Kidichic, junees online, mezzo. I got vennetini (sp?) For $40/pair.
Please post good sales you've found around town!
Specifically, I'm hoping to find knee socks for school on sale. I dont care if its "last year's style", my girls just care to look basically normal and then go by their personal preference (they're young, but I hope this lasts!). I remember double header on ditmas did a sale last year but I havent seen it advertised this year).

Sock Exchange has a sale on hosiery and headbands
Most stores are like 50-70 percent off
Zara has great sales online now
Lands End as well. I got my preteens bathing suits for next summer
