Tragic. |
Without this same system, there would be no drug discovered, no miracle cure possible. Not for $2.2M or $22M or $220M.

You think medical research only happens in the US?

This isn't the time or place for this discussion- a little girl needs help. But yeah, most medical innovation happens in the USA as investors know here is the biggest chance for increased ROI. In other countries they would say it costs too much and deny it. Or still make them pay out of pocket for it and/or go overseas for the medication. (Or like some recent cases- not even let the parent, on their own dime, take their dying kid to another country to try a different treatment protocol. )
Whether it works or not is not the issue here as no drug works 100% --but letting the parents try something that has the chance of helping matters.
But back to the topic- this isn't a political discussion.
Help the kid if you can. Give her a shot at life.

I already donated but now you're sending me back to see.
Isn't it amazing? And right now, it seems clear to me that this little girl is fulfilling her mission in life in this stage and that is bring out people's good and charitable nature. Iy"H she should have 118+ years to do it in a more active way.

I'm just watching the numbers go up by the second and crying at the thought of so many thousands of people giving a little bit of themselves to a baby they never met. If only this was enough to bring moshiach.

The most amazing thing to me is how many donations were small, $5, $10, $18. Its a lesson to me that even if I have very little to give, it still counts. Its easy to feel like how does my $5 make a difference but it really does!

Try refreshing it again.
After getting the error message a few times, I got to the page which has been updated to say their $1.9 million goal was reached and the medicine was ordered, asking for tefillos for Chana Bas Shani and thanking klal yisroel.
