They aren’t architects they just have an architect sign off on the projects I want a real architect who actually knows design and stuff.

Not many people do because the cost is so high for residential so you may not get to many responses on here You can try calling the ones in the phone book and get references and check out their work.

This. My dh is a licensed architect in Brooklyn and charges upwards of $650 an hour for private homes. A lot of the people who call themselves “architects” are really just designers and are much cheaper, and are sometimes pretty good, but they’re not educated like architects are. It depends on how much you’re willing to pay for the work.

Where is he located? Has he done homes in Lakewood? Does he understand what a Jewish home needs?

He has extensive experience with high end residential frum homes (he’s frum). He’s done some beautiful houses in Lakewood, and the surrounding area. A lot of his projects are in Brooklyn and 5 towns. If you call he’ll give you pricing and addresses / references in Lakewood to check out.
