I just bought instant pot which part do you need to tovel the
whole machine or just the inside pot?

The inside pot and the lid need to be toiveled. The outside electric part does not need to be toiveled.

You might need to take apart the lid (remove and toivel separately the float valve and sealing ring) but I'm not sure. (I don't think I did.)
