There were several cats living in the house and a strong odor remains! I will rip out all the carpet and repaint. Is it necessary to clean all the vents too? It’s expensive but I’ll do it if it’ll save me heartache down the line!

I don't know if it will help with the smell, but it is important to clean out vents occasionally and doing so before moving in would be a good time.

I know you have to do the dryer vent I didn’t know you have to do the ac vents too
