My daughter was born on R"H, and we named her a name from the Kriah/Haftorah of the day.
So you could name a name like Yitzchak, because we read about the Akeida....

My son is Shmuel. Hashem Listened which I love for this time of year. We used the name for different reasons but its so meaningful during the yomim noraim.

Thank you, keep them coming! A bunch I hadn't thought of. None of them are grabbing me so far, but there are some possibilities.

I know it is sometimes a girls' name, but what about "Yona"--as in what we read on yom kippur.

I've heard of the Hebrew name Shuviel used in Israel. Based on my limited Hebrew knowledge I'd guess it means "return to Gd", but I'm not sure and definitely check before using.
Eliyashiv is used among DL in Israel.

David and Yehuda are ones I really connect with as role models for Teshuva, but DH isn't going for them. Already have a Nosson.

Like this! Never heard it before, do you have a source? Also connects to Yehuda, who, as I said, I really admire from Tanach and is a model for Teshuva but DH isn't connecting to the name.
