Reb Naftule Horowitz is fantastic! anybody know why he’s not being the menahel? Yesterday I heard he is was on. Guess circumstances changed since then...I wonder why???

In my humble opinion he did a great job last year until circumstances caused him to leave. He’s a very ehrlich ibergegebeneh person and a brilliant educator who was doing his best despite the underlying situation

Reb Horowitz instilled solid hashkofos and is an emesdigeh chassidish Ehrlich yingerman in the chinuch field. Would be a real pity if he doesn’t stay on. From what I’ve heard, he was approached and begged to undertake this once again.

I’m not involved at all but someone close to me sent to toras Yisroel last year and has only the nicest things to say about Menahel Horowitz...

I just can't fathom parents being so set on one or the other, to point of hindering the progress of the cheder opening.

Ruby, I hear you and I agree with you that it needs to be run well. But a Menahel is a fundamental aspect of any solid yeshiva. Klein or whoever else was chosen might be phenomenal too, I don’t know enough to be able to comment on his credentials.

And I’m definitely not hindering at all. The opposite! I daven every day that the cheder should be matzliach and be able to open and run smoothly besha toivuh. Hashem knows we need such a cheder for our precious yingelach.

I'm a newbie. I only went by what I heard which was heavily biased.

Almost every other boys school. Darchei Avoseini doesn't have an opening date yet so your kids are in good company...
