I am an OT, I work with kids. Someone recently told me that they heard about providing OT sessions online. Does anyone here do that? Or know how it works?
Thanks!

Yes, I've done it. Google teletherapy and you'll see a number of companies.

How in the world would that work for children?

Thanks for the information. Was there a specific company you worked for that was good to work with?

I actually quit after about 7 months because they wanted me to commit a certain number of hours but they weren't giving me cases so it was obviously not making sense financially. The pay was of course less than face to face therapy, but if I had a full caseload it would have worked for me anyway.
Not all therapy can be done virtually, but in my case I was working for a school district so it was educational goals and I just had to be creative- which is not an issue for me. Other teletherapists sometimes focus on parent training, and have the parents do the hands on part as you provide virtual support via webcam. I do prefer face to face therapy myself, but not all families have access to therapists locally and this is the only option available to them.
