I get these cheap catalogs with tunics such as Blair, Anthony Richards, Haband, and Shop National. These all have websites.

I'm taller but I have the same issue with my stomach.
I actually find tunics to accentuate my stomach and definitely my hips more (I am much smaller on top than my waist)
The style that works for me is actually an unfitted blouse - more a boxy look - so that it creates a straight line rather than hugging anywhere. I'll wear with either a pencil skirt (NOT a tight fitted one, a straight fitted one)
Maybe something like this --

Those tops are pretty, no idea if they would work.
Any ideas for sweaters or sweater dresses that are a bit longer than regular ?
I can't go very thick or boxy bec those make me look heavier overall.
Btw my baby is 5.... Can't Believe It

Stupid Q - how does a vest like this help with a big stomach? It doesn't close, so it still shows it

It creates a vertical line/block, which elongates the silhouette.

Yes, but visually breaking up a "problematic" area can do more to disguise/minimize than covering with a homogeneous piece of fabric.

I get you op, because I am 5 ft tall and wear size 12.
Not fun!
I buy petite tops from amazon or kohl’s. Free returns so I buy a lot to try on..
Sometimes I buy a regular top and hem it if it’s too long.
Straight skirts usually look better even though there are mainly a line skirts out there...

Light colors and patterns on areas you want to bring focus to, dark solids on areas you want to draw attention from.

Omg! Op you sound like me. Very petite but with large stomach, butt and thighs due to a medical condition that caused me to gain a lot of weight and water retention. I cannot shop

OP I'm similar in that I am short (5') and have large bust and fairly large tummy for my size. Not obese but I do look pregnant (apple shape) with skinny arms and legs. I have had good luck with some clothing items from a website called artful home. The thing is it's really expensive ($100+ for tops) so I shop their sales section or save up. Lots of very flattering things. Comfy USA is one of their brands that works for me and generally the clothes run big, so it feels nice to order a size extra small! Next on my wish list from artful home is a shirt called Vancouver Top. Their return policy is fine. Anon just bc I talk about this exact thing IRL.
