How does one go about finding a school for their child, with needing a scholarship?
Do you have a choice in schools? (I'm looking for a Brookyn preschool)Do you apply through the school itself or through some other organization?
How do you decide on a school anyhow?
All tips and advice are welcome!

do schools really give scholarships for preschools? it seems that preschool is a luxury, not a necessity, and if you can't afford it, you don't send. but of course I could be wrong!

What age to kids have to start going to school? If there are no scholarships for 3 year olds, then I guess that I'd have to wait till school is required.
I called Head Start ( I think that's what it was). You get on a list and the more dire the situation is at home, the higher on the list you get. I didn't get in last year and I think it'll be the same if I try again. But I guess it's worth trying again.
