Is it scary/hard to do? if not, which particular tour would you recommend?

It's not scary or hard but I don't think you should do it if you've never done it before. You need to cross the street and go among people. It's best to do it the first time in a park or quiet place.

I highly recommend smart-tour segways. There is training prior to the tour. It's not scary at all, & very enjoyable. We even had senior citizens on our tour that did ok.

I've gone on Segway in Florida on a straight park with excellent instructor & guide. In Jerusalem, I went on a very Hilly way and it was scary. Instruction was pretty vague too. Does Smartour go on level ground?? I would try them again.
