Get dressed by self? 4 (with some button help and ect for another yr or two depending on the child)

Shower independently? 5/6 (with me checking in and helping them wash up). More like 7/8 completely independently

Clean self after BM? 3/4

Cross quiet street alone? 11

Make bed? 5/6 (not perfectly of course)

My oldest is not yet 6 so I can't really answer all the questions, but I was wondering about cleaning self after BM?? At the age of 3 or 4? I don't think my almost 6 year old would do a good job, he's a bit of a spacey type and I really don't trust that he would clean himself well enough and wash his hands with soap afterwards. I think it's personality though because the one under him probably could do it and do a good job too.
Sigh I guess it's time to start letting him do it supervised so he can learn...
I still think 3/4 is way too young.

Get dressed by self? 1) 4 2) was physically able to at 4,5. But always wanted help until 9 3) 6

Shower independently? 1) 5. 2&3)At 6 they still needed help with the water temperature, so I guess 7,8

Clean self after BM? 4, but would ask for help rarely up to age 8

Cross quiet street alone? 1)8 2) 5 (a very timid, cautious child) 3) 7

Make bed? 1) 5 2) 10 3)6

Shower independently? 6-7, but still preferred baths

Clean self after BM? Around 6. Flushable wipes were a G-dsend!

Cross quiet street alone? We lived on a fairly quiet street, but when cars did come by, they zoomed around like they owned the place, so no crossing until 12. She could go anywhere she wanted on the block when she was 6.

Make bed? LOL

You're kidding, right? Nobody in our house makes the bed, unless they feel like it. It was never a rule. I prefer to air out the covers when I get up.

Get dressed by self?girls at age 4 cloothes were put on the right way. But needed help with tights top buttons,zippers, tying back belts and making hair/pony tail

Shower independently? 5-6 but enjoyed being bathed so only when when I really needes them too, like on these short erev shabbos. I had to provide fresh clothing, towels ect. And remindersn to stick in the shower curtain.otherwise my whole floor would be wet

Clean self after BM?3

Cross quiet street alone?5/6 crosing was not the problem. Kid could.cross my street but not go much further than that alone

Make bed? 7 sometimes, liked help of a second person. We would both take the corners and fold

Shower independently? 8/9 for total independence (for girls), including setting the water temp and washing hair. Younger if just washing off and a good shampoo+rinse isn't necessary and if I set the temp.

Clean self after BM? 4-6,with varying levels of cleanliness achieved.

Cross quiet street alone? 9. Busy streets as well.

Make bed? Rolling Laughter
