Do you use tap water to boil water for say coffee or pasta? Is it safe to use? If you've installed a whole house filtration system would that make drinking tap water safe? How much does that cost and who does this?

Are you saying no tap even just to boil pasta or rice? You use bottles for everything? How do you keep up with buying all the water needed?

I use sink water for cooking. There was only one certain area that was affected.

I’m not from the area and didn’t see what happened, but most likely even aside from that situation the tap water would not be safe to drink. I use a good quality filter for my kitchen sink that goes under the countertop. You can check the quality of your tap water by zip code for contaminants - https://www.ewg.org/tapwater/

I don't use filter and use my water in everything. I dunno. We're all still alive. Never did research. For drinking water I have a filter in my fridge

Ask your pediatrician what's safe. He should know.
