Hi. Israeli/English baby names- for a girl

Hi, I'm new to the forum...

I live in northern Israel. I'm about to give birth to my second sabra. What do people think of the name Shiloh for a girl? We are honoring my husband's grandfather, and like the idea of a name that means "His gift", meaning the many gifts his grandfather gave to our family. Does it work for a girl? We want something unique... and these gender neutral names seem quite popular here (at least in the north).

I like the nickname of Shai for a girl, but how does that work in English ?(for the American relatives who need to be able to write something...)

My cousin named her son Shiloh, as an american I never heard the name before and I had no idea it was for both genders.

It is strange that an American never heard the name Shiloh for a girl, because that's what Angelina Jolie and Bradd Pitt named their daugher about a year and a half ago...

But from a Jewish perspective, I don't know if the name is considered unisex...
