I was thinking of posting in the Israel thread but thought I wouldn't get too many responses. |
Everybody in Israel, myself included, is going crazy over Amazon shopping with free shipping.

There is no such thing as quick delivery in Israel. Amazon packages shipped from the states are arriving more quickly than locally shipped packages.
To find out what's available with free shipping to Israel enter an Israeli address as the shipping address and it will show you items shipping for free. There is a $50 minimum for free shipping and it needs to be under $75 to avoid customs fees/VAT.

Its like a tiny crockpot, and melts the wax. It uses hard wax, so it rehardens in the pot for storage. It hurts much less than the strips I used to use, or than the wax that's removed with a cloth strip. And will pay for itself with just a few missed professional waxings.
And it works. |
This looks great! To clarify, you spread on the wax, wait for it to cool, then pull off the wax with the trapped hair? No strips needed?

Yes. The wax cools and hardens in seconds, then you pull it off.
As I said, I'm obsessed with it.

I've never done a waxing by myself, but I am looking forward to trying - thanks for the recommendation!

Ok, here's what I ordered so far, lol.
Bunch of books before the craze started that I order anyway without free shipping.
Clothing for DH - dress pants, underwear, undershirts.
Clothing for myself (that I tend to order anyway but the free shipping is a bonus).
Dixie paper plates.
Dixie 16 oz paper coffee cups.
16 oz red solo cups, lol. Nostalgia factor plus they don't make that size here for regular drinking glasses.
A box of Kirkland brand plastic cutlery.
A cool mist humidifier.
Sun therapy lamp (yes I still have SAD even here and yes it's not fair!).
8x8 foil tins.
9 in round tins.
Ziploc bags!! Osher Ad seems to have stopped carrying them!
A particular Dove shampoo DH likes they don't sell here.
A bunch of small claw shaped hair clips.
Sheets for our American sized twin beds.
And we ordered a rug, that didn't have free shipping but even paying shipping we spent less than we would have on a rug that size here.
So basically, a lot.

Great list. Thanks. How often/close together can you order to Israel without raising the ire of customs? I want to order a whole bunch of things, but don’t want UPS or customs to flip out.

As soon as Amazon sends you an email that your order has shipped you can make another order.

There are some that are super simple and some even my husband and I can't figure out.
My 8yo and 12yo are obsessed with them and they're too hard for my 4yo so if I had to pick an age I'd say starting around 6.

Are you sure? The Customs website states that if shipments come too close together, they may be deemed one shipment.

I’m bumping up this thread :
I received these shoes today . They are the Amazon Essentials brand and they are very cushioned inside and super comfy. I wear a size 13 and it’s almost impossible to find shoes. I was so happy to see that Amazon carried my size . I had to get a wife because my size only comes in wide widths but I’m usually a medium. They look fine though. Not sure how long they will last . They come in lots of colors and are only $19
