so ... I have a crockpot ... the outer pot is a deep fryer ... would you say this is meaty as well ... or a separate pot and pareve ???

Don't know for sure, but since ith inner was washed with meaty and quite probably some juice or steam made it's way outside of the inner and into the outer, the outer is probably meaty as well.

Ask your rov. it might indeed be meaty, but if you hven't used it for meat in a long time, plus have no such pareve or milchig alternative, you might be able to get away with cooking something pareve in it and then addig cheese or some such to it out of the container.

the last time I made cholent was like many years ago ...
and this is the crock "holder" ... a deep fryer with it's own basket ...
anyways - we are not putting milky stuff on it or on milky plates ...
but was just wondering ...
