Between all the siblings we usually chip in for something for my parents. In the past we got them place mats, photo frame, wine glasses, pillows for the couch.... need an idea for this year.

A video of all the families' homemade videos is so awesome! A family tree is also awesome if it's a big family. Don't spend a lot. Let it be meaningful. Like, each grandchild saying a personal message on the DVD.. This is something we cherish over everything else. Because we miss you so so much!

my favorite grandparent gift is a digital picture frame with wifi, but it sounds like you have that already.
Might be too late to pull it off for this year, but a family portrait/ big professional collage.
