Can anyone recommend a colorist in Brooklyn to add highlights? I think I'd rather go straight to the person doing the work than do it thru a sheitelmacher who will just send it out to be done. But if I have to do it thru a sheitelmacher, I guess I'm open to that too.

If you have any idea how much I can expect to pay? TIA

At a recent sheitel sale, I was quoted $250 to add highlights but I thought that was too high. I'm hoping to find someone who will do a good job for less. I just want some subtle highlights in top layer of wig.

Karym is also good and I think well priced. Give her a call 3474204168.
Through a sheitelmacher you might get a better price and it can include the wash and set.

Emmy wigs on 45 and 14 avenue is very reasonable and they do a good job.

You can go to a Chinese hair salon for cheap but they will mess you up so bad it'll cost you more to fix and maybe be irreparable.
Highlights if not done correctly can kill your wig.
Be careful.
Rather pay more and go to someone experienced with wigs.
