Hi, I only have Spanish onions in the house can I put them under my chicken and shabbos meat? Usually I put regular ones

I only buy Spanish onions. They're way juicer.
I don't eat raw onions though, only scallions.

Spanish ones are the only type I can find in the winter. Sweet varieties like Walla Walla and Vidalia are only available in the summer.
BTW, you can put red onions under your chicken for a slight change of pace. It's also very good, especially if you mix them with mushrooms.
