Has anyone done this? Maybe on delicate? I cant get to the dry cleaners in the near future and my husband's talit really needs a good cleaning. Do you think the machine would completely ruin it or on a delicate cycle it would be ok?

I did it. I used magen tzitzit for the strings. Washed in cool water in delicate cycle and used woolite for machine. Then I hung it dry. Totally fine.

Totally fine. | What is magen tzitzit (I know what the word means, but dont know what that is.)? I would use a plastic bag for the tzitzit.

As long as there is no atara on the talis it should be fine. Wash on delicate and hang to dry.
