Baby wearing is your best option. Not sure why you couldn't order a carrier or wrap to be delivered to you, if you aren't comfortable borrowing? But no matter - any length of fabric will do - you can find a billipn tutorials online. This is how they do it in other countries! Even one of your husband's shirts will work:)

That's too advanced for me! Thanks for the ideas!

Can you post your location? Someone here might have an extra carrier you can have or borrow. And yeah, all of them are machine washable so I wouldn’t worry about taking someone up on it. |
I live far far away

He start a kvetching after a few minutes.
He just woke up from his nap, and I got a ton done! But back time lugging him around

Not a bad idea. He definitely is teething. But he never made a peep at the babysitter

Lol I make massive babies! We're all tall, and they grow up to be string beans

I have pretty small hips, and they're just getting smaller and smaller with all this exercise I get lugging him around

Interesting! What's the difference?

There were studies showing ibuprofen links to complications with corona

When my baby was crying all day at that age, he was HUNGRY. Maybe the babysitter feeds him a lot and that's why he's content there.
And don't obsess about his weight. Fat babies are healthy babies. His weight gain will probably start slowing down once he starts crawling.

He eats whatever food I send to the babysitter. No more than what he eats at home.
I'm not obsessing about his weight! The fatter, the better. I love my squishy marshmallow babies. My husband and I (and my 3 year old) are very thin, but started out rolly polly!
I think he just wants my attention because he knows he can get it.

It's normal for infants to need a lot of attention from mom. Many are less interested in their babysitter. But it's normal and healthy, it's a stage that you need to get through, not eliminate altogether.

Don't know if this helps but I found buying a Baby Bjorn saved my life
I know baby is 22 lbs so that might be hard :-)
And I bought one used but during quarantine that isn't exactly possible lol so buying new might be $$$...
but if you can get your hands on one safely without giving yourself even more stress and try it...
just tossing the idea out there
