Same company. They used to go by the name Americhoice. Now they're called United Healthcare Community Plan

Unfortunately most doctors offices are closed now to find out
My primary doctor said they take United or Americgroup.

Are you in nyc area? Unfortunately UHC has been removing many providers and hospitals from their Network

So don't switch to UHC. They're one of the worst HMOs to be on right now

I'll probably be switching my family over to Fidelis. Find out if your PCP takes that.
Most Medicaid HMOs are basically the same

They are now giving me options of Health First, Blue Cross or Fidelis

I was happy with UHC for years, (had private plans and community plans at different points). This year quite a few providers sent letters that they're not taking it but since my doctors still do I'm not switching.
Dr Diamond, and others said they'll stop taking it but they started again.

NYU hospital and associated doctors not taking it anymore. I'm worried I'll need to use one of their specialists or hospital and then end up with large bill so I want to switch proactively even though my provider is still taking it as well.
I would recommend Fidelis
