Excuse my ignorance, what makes an onion kugel an onion kugel? Does it not have any potatoes? Is it just saute'd onions and something to hold it together?

My chametz onion kugel is a thin dough filled with sauteed onions and seasoning rolled together like a jelly roll.

I got it off Facebook last night. Everyone said it was awesome. Planning on making it second days. Looks stupid easy.

It needed to cook longer than an hour. Otherwise good. I chopped the onions, didn't do rings.
