Hi I would like to potty train my almost 2 year old.
Looking for tips from anyone who successfully potty trained this age.
He’s a boy

Is there a reason you want to start so early? Does he seem ready??
Give him lots to drink and put on underwear. Put him on the toilet/potty every hour for 10 minutes. If he makes, cheer and clap and give him a small treat. When he has an accident, show him that this is supposed to go in the toilet & have him help with clean up.

Time, consistency, and patience.
Starting with a low potty seat can be good instead of a seat that covers the toilet. The bigger seat can be intimidating and uncomfortable when first starting. I don't think my son was quite so young when we started but I don't really remember. Basically you just have him sit on it for a couple of minutes periodically throughout the day, when he pees in it you act excited about it and say good job, etc. When he doesn't, don't make a big deal about and just go about your day - "all done? Okay, let's wash out hands." Eventually he'll start making the connection and be on his way to consistently using the toilet. Standing comes later.

Wear nothing on bottom until he gets it. Don't expect night to be the same as day
