As I learned when my kids went to gan ..
An israeli bird says "Tsif Tsif " (english one said tweet tweet)
and Israeli dog says "how how" or "hav hav" and and english one says "woof woof" or "bow wow"
Cats all seem to say miouw

It's funny because Argentinian dogs say "whoa-whoa".
I'm not sure about the birds here.

I think birds sound like cheep cheep (or would it be cheap cheap?) but mostly, around here, we have pigeons, and they make this annoying sound, kind of a cross between a coo and a purr, on my windowsill.
My son is getting speech therapy, and one of the therapists tries to teach him animal sounds that are easier to say. Like instead of "cluck cluck" for a chicken, it's "puck puck." This would be fine, except the other therapists do cluck cluck, so he must think that chickens are complicated talkers.
