I have an ereader with hundreds of books that I have from all sorts of places. My ereader is too big to take with when I'm out and about (not at the moment I know) and I would love to be able to load some books on my phone.
Is there an app or something that would allow me to do this?
AFAIK I can't use kindle or apple app as most of my books aren't from there. I also don't really want to pay as I can't really justify it, as I already have the ereader.
TIA

If you’re in Brooklyn and have a Brooklyn Library card, you can download books on your phone. Start with their app and go from there.
Just tonight I wanted a book which they didn’t have but was available on the New York Public Library site. I was able to get an e-card on the spot and have already downloaded the book. It uses a different app but all were free
Good luck!

You can read books in .epub format on the iPhone on the Books App which is free. There is an App to read .eoub formatted books for Android as well.

You can read .mobi format books on here Kindle App which is also a free download.

Public libraries use a free App which you can download from the Apple or android store depending in which kind of phone you have. You would then be able to download digital books from the library.

You can transfer the digital books you now have on your phone in a variety of ways depending on how you store them.
