Which of these 2 30" Cooktops is better?

Would anyone recommend another one in this price range? Thanks?

I would go with the GE. The Whirlpool has a lot of empty unused space between the grated. Will be tough to maneuver large pots.

I have the bosch. for same price range. very happy with it. it has continuous grates with a grate in the middle that I actually love to use for warming other things up or moving pots around. I for sure wouldn't do the Whirlpool. the empty space is to small to be useful

I would go with GE. They generally have much better ovens and stovetops then other companies.

Agree with Tweety1. I have a base model (electric) GE range and a base model Whirlpool range (for Pesach), and the GE is WAY, WAY, better quality. It is heavier, heats up faster, and in general seems better built. I'd definitely go with them for a gas stove if we ever had a hookup! (We rent, so it's not worth putting one in.)
