We bought one of these years ago and my kids still love it. They want a second one now. Can I buy any other brand's and use it with the Step It Up game, or do I have the buy the one sold by that company?

Bumping this-
My kids would like this for Chanuka and I’m not sure how it works.
Does it need to be hooked up with a computer?
We allow the kids to use a very old computer... not sure if it would even work for this game
Please tell me if your kids enjoy or is this only fun the first few days?

Thank you!! I wanted to hear this!
I’m just so worried that the old computer kids use won’t be good enough for this..
I don’t want to have to buy a new computer just to make it work but I really want to buy it for my kids!

We have it and my kids play on it all day! My younger one and my teens. And it’s great exercise! They play against each other to see who scores higher. They really love it. I’m thinking of getting the latest version for them now that has all the latest songs.

You'll need to ask someone who knows computers if it'll work.
It should.
But it's so so much fun!

I had this when I was younger and loved it!!!
The software did slow down our computer a lot. They might have updated the software so I don’t knwo if it’s still relevant.

I had one dance pad for a while but the real fun happened when I got a second pad.. my kids couldnt get enough of it! they love seeing how they do against one another.. the competition made it so much more fun. I have it for a couple of years now so sometimes it isnt used for a long while.. but its always exciting when we bring it out again

I don’t know if I want to spend more money though when the first one is already going to waste.
