I have a few suggestion:
1. to make his favorite supper buy some nice party tablecloth with matching dishes with a nice card hidden under plate(not alot of men go for cards but if your husband the type he'll love it.)
2. buy his dream gift he talked about all year
3. if he likes a few things ask him which he'd prefer the most and buy it.
that's my philosphy since I have a hard time buying for my husband because he has what he want and if he doesn't have it yet he'll have it tomorrow
