You can do painting or find something to decorate or enhance your home. I like practical things, but that’s just me.

Adult coloring book
Follow a YouTube canvas painting and make it a paint night
Cook a restaurant meal together and set a romantic table
Bake together
(Organize a closet - ok, don't throw tomatoes at me!)

To be specific: I need to log hours of work and with a bunch of kids at home need something that they can self entertain without too much adult input.

You have to create everything from scratch. The furniture is just flat pieces of wood that you glue together, fabrics need to be cut and stuffed, etc.

We did a canvas painting with a tourial online. It was a ton of fun and came out so much better then I expected. I ordered everything in advance. Also got extra paints and canvas so we can do it again.
