Ground chicken in freezer for over a year - use or toss?

The package gives a 3 month date. I've had in freezer 11 months past that date.

Should I use or toss?

I don't think it would be dangerous there's just a good chance that it will be freezer burned and not tasty. It probably also depends how good your freezer is. My deep freezer that I don't open nearly as often as my one on top of my fridge keeps food much longer.

In a deep freezer you can eat it but not in a regular freezer. I wouldn’t risk food bourn illness over it. You can google and get charts of freezing lengths.
