Hi we have a family newsletter that each sibling has to do their week. I’m trying to think of ideas if anyone can help. Like some cute activity for example family quiz, Q&A with the little kids etc. recipes is a separate thing. Trying to think of something fun that everyone will like.

That is sooooo nice. Reminds me of Little Women. You can do a word search. Funny quotes of the week. mitzvah notes even. Joke or riddle contests. Current events as understood by the kids

Such a gorgeous idea-maybe guess the baby pictures, bunch of different baby pictures and have to guess who it is.
Another idea-if you've done trips together, you can try and find iconic or random pictures from the trip and they have to guess which trip it was etc.
Or Q and A-who is most likely to...(keep the questions nice so it won't insult or offend anyone)

My nieces and nephews have been putting out a newsletter during this quarantine period as an activity. Besides for their general family news, they include a recipe which they've tried out, a dvar Torah, comics, a joke section, and an interview with a relative.

Depends on what each of the siblings like to do...
They could have an opinion piece...(where they complain about the chores they don't like, or about the food they don't want, or say what they particularly like, or what made them specially happy)
They could research a topic that interests them.
They could have one column "bubby news" to give them an occasion to speak to their grandparents, so that they will also appear in the newsletters
They could make fun, made-up ads...
They could have a "word of the week", either serious or humorous
They could have a translation column: when XYZ says this, it really means this...
Guess who? Describe a person, guess who it is.
Actually it's not that hard to make crossword puzzles yourself. Of course, there are apps for it. But you can also take squared paper or a scrabble board, first lay out the solution (the words that will be in the puzzle) and then find funny clues.
And you could start a multi-author serial novel... and each week, the sibling in charge can continue it however they see fit...
