Did everyone get a final answer yet? I’m still in the dark about my kids! I don’t see anyone complaining here. Am I the only one finding it hard not to know yet a week before opening day?

Is your can't in Ulster county? That's the hardest county to deal with right now. The camps there are working day and night to work it out

Don't expect anything to open. If your camp hasn't worked out a day camp option on camp grounds by now, it's not happening.

I’m referring to Sleepaway only. I’m not being in the mountains so daycamp won’t be for my kids regardless.

Sleepaway camp is not happening in NY. If your camp is still stringing you along, that's just mean.

Some camps are still working on alternate relationship. My kids camp has a campground out if state but finalizing last minute details.

I think they legally can have kids there 72 hours - or something like that.

Kids 15 and older can be classified as temporary residents. So the older divisions can open for real. Sternberg's previous arrangement before they worked that out (and the 72 hour thing) was to be a day camp and for the girls to sleep offsite in an alternate location, complete with supervision.

4200 for 6 wks of camp only.monday to Thursday. Are ppl sendign

Romimu is doing the same (mon-thurs). The other camps (ohr chedva) are functioning only as daycamps (so just for people in the mountains)
