Merck has been in court for years for lying about the efficacy of the only US-available MMR vaccine.
But not one mention of that in the article. Amazing, isn't it?

Isn't it amazing how anti-vaxxers don't even question how scientific pseudoscience is and constantly start threads trying to prove how ineffective and dangerous vaccinations are?

Isn't it amazing how anti-vaxxers cherry-pick facts to suit their agendas, conveniently ignoring both context and meaning?

PS the medical world knows very well that the mumps component is the least effective of the three. It only has about an 80% efficacy rate. That's still 80% of vaccinated individuals who won't get mumps later in life, versus 100% of unvaccinated people who will get mumps, if herd immunity drops too low.

But did you know that people can get mumps naturally twice? Sometimes it just doesn't confer natural immunity.

I have news for you. The mumps vaccine is closer to 50% effective, and they lied that it's closer to 80%. But we won't really know until Merck sees its day in court. In the meantime they've been stalling and stonewalling.

Getting mumps naturally a second time is a highly unusual occurence, similar to getting chickenpox twice or measles twice. These are viruses that most people are immune for life once they catch it. Of course there are exceptions, but not at a rate of 41/62.

The good news is that Covid rate must be way down if vax threads are starting up again Wink
