I wonder the same thing. It seems like everyone is in the country these days We're home puttering around and doing chores.
Later they'll ride bikes and we'll bake cookies for after supper. Interspersed they are listening to audio books. and play board games.

Sounds ideal.
One day I hope to have such a home.

Lazy mornings. Swimming. Shopping. Socializing.
ETA that’s Sunday. Honestly haven’t had time to breathe during the week. Carpooling, errands, appointments. And then some more carpooling.

Find something on Netflix to watch. Bike. Take walks with the dogs. Drive and get takeout (don’t worry, we don’t all go in. It’s just for the drive and to get out of the house). We want to try hiking trails, too.

We've been enjoying our State parks hiking trails (freeeeeee!) but yesterday we went to paint pottery. And we are allowing more watching than I would normally allow... not happy about it.

My family is young, so it's different, but it might help to make a schedule.
Something like:
9- wake up, daven, breakfast served (make it something worth their while to get up if you have the time)
10- leave for family trip (pack snacks the night before). Park, hike, field to play ball, biking around town, whatever works for you.
Lunch when you come home. Things like make your own pizza or salad are fun and stretch the day.
1:30-3- rest/ independent time. They entertain themselves while you work/ put the house in order.
3-4:30- family craft time. Puzzles, diamond art, fancy chalk work. Whatever works for you. If you have a pool or other water play here’s the time.
4:30-6- chores? Rest/independent time
6-7:30- prepare and eat dinner
7:30-8:30- family game time.
Clearly adapt to your family’s needs.
