We like board games and reading, but there's a limit...
DH says no puzzles.
Too hot here for walks or playing in the backyard.
Any ideas?!

Learn to play chess ? or buy a new game. Or a book with lots of indoor game ideas?

Are you still practicing sd? If not, go to a neighbor, friend, parents, sibling.

When we were under heavy quarantine I actually created a schedule for one shabbos. Needless to say we didn't really follow it but it helped a lot. It looked something like this
Wake up
Get dressed, tidy the rooms
Birchas hatorah
Kiddush & mezonos, breakfast
Davening together
Play
Meal
Rest , nap time
Refreshments (ices and watermelon)
Pirkei avos
Quick walk/ if it's too hot to you can do singing time indoors, everyone joins in
Mincha
Prep for shalosh suedas
Eat
Maariv
And that's it, shabbos was over

How about card games? A deck of cards goes a long way because of all the different games you can play with it.
