Anyone know the Halacha regarding using a treif oven? Can I double wrap a pan of food to cook in a treif oven (in a hotel room)
I know nobody here a rabbi . Wondering if common knowledge

It can be done, like they do on the airlines with the double wrapped kosher food. Use wrapping that will stay sealed.

When we were on vacation we asked our Rabbi, he told us to use only disposable pans in case there is some Treif on the exterior of the oven. Triple seal the pans with Aluminum foil (best if you can do all around with aluminum foil) to ensure no steam is exiting the pan.

Oven also has to be clean. Burnt and inedible is okay.
Part of reason is that if there is dairy and meat in oven you cannot heat oven and cook them together. Most hotel ovens are pretty clean so this isn’t an issue.
