I saw one in mispacha junior this week, but threw it out by mistake.

lol I just made some friday
1 Stick Marg
1 C Brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp rice/soy milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 C Oats
12 oz package of choclate chips
375F
Beat marg and sugar until creamy... add eggs, milk and vanilla beat well
add flour, baking soda and mix
Stir in oats and chocolate chips
drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheet
9-10 min for chewy or 10 - 12 for chrispy
cool
(quaker oats recipe modified for less sugar)

When I worked in Soho years ago we used to get these all the time at Olive's, and they were good. Then they printed up the recipe in Bon Appetit and I made them myself.

no quaker oats container with modifications..I wrote that above..

I also adapt the Quaker oats recipe, but I substitute the margarine with oil. You can also blend the oats(in a food processor) or half of them, if you want a smoother dough , kindof like making the oats into oat flour. They are a family favorite (especially with the choco chips).

I made my chocolate chip cookies w/ natural apple sauce instead of margarine, and they came out really good.
one secret I learned when making oatmeal choc chip cookies-grind the oatmeal in the food processor first.
