Any ideas for how to keep my son busy in the evening during the nine days when there’s no swimming? He works in a camp during the day but there’s so many hours when he gets home and I don’t want him on video games all night. It’s too hot for outdoor sports with the neighbors which we often have during the school year. Supper, mincha, maariv takes up about an hour total. That leaves about 5 hours with not much to do...

How about taking the opportunity to develop a hobby? What are his interests and talents? Would he get together with friends for a ball game ? Do a puzzle? Learn a new skill?
